    『Violet Flux is a non-binary artist based out of Brooklyn, NY. Their art spans a series of mediums. 

    First and foremost, they are a writer of fiction. Sci-fi/Fantasy is their principal genre. Violet is currently writing their debut novel. The untitled project imagines a future where the line between reality and the digital world are blurred. Earth has become split between 3-tiers: The Underground, the Surface and the Clouds. Those on the highest tier are unaware of those below them. The main protagonist will descend from the cloud cities and be faced with a journey that will forever change their perspective.

As a DJ, Violet is known for crafting dynamic, driving sets that feature unique percussive elements. As in life, Violet brings a curiosity & playfulness to each performance. There is magic to be found on the dancefloor when Violet is on the decks 🌌 Before the end of June, expect an electronic/techno EP produced by Violet.

Violet co-hosts a weekly Techno night at JADE bar called Tech & Tonics (@techtonicsbk). This series highlights new and established talent in the techno/dance music scene. In response to the Omicron-driven COVID wave, Violet launched the Queer Nightlife Fund that provided grants to 48 NYC Nightlife workers who lost work/gigs.

Beyond the DJ booth, you can find them producing events for leading electronic music events in NYC. They work both in audio and visual production.』
